Mark Yolton Family

Karen is "Mrs. Mark" or "Lollie," or wife, mom, stepmom, or some other moniker, depending on who you ask.  She's Director of Communications for the IT team at not-for-profit healthcare provider Kaiser-Permanente in Oakland, CA, a gourmet cook, author of short-story fiction, and smitten grandmom to Carson.  See Karen pics here...

Dan

Dan is our youngest son, almost-21, and a college student at Montco (Montgomery County Community College) in Pennsylvania.  He played lacrosse in high school and on a previous college team at Shippensburg University.  These days he's also the "cart guy" at a golf course.  Here are some Dan pics...

Kendrick

Kendrick is our older son and middle kid, 25, and a graduate of Cal Poly (the California Polytechnic State University) in San Luis Obispo (SLO) on California's central coast.   He is a successful sales rep for Dealer Tire and lives nearby in Pleasanton, CA.  Here is Kendrick's page...

Kim is our daughter and oldest kid, married to our favorite son-in-law Brian Newman.  They live in Concord, California - just 30 minutes north of Mark+Karen.  Kim works for the Executive Vice Chancellor at the University of California in San Francisco (UCSF).  Brian is a Sr. Account Executive for FedEx in the East Bay.  Their son, Carson, is 5 years old and the center of the universe, around whom all else revolves... but is soon to have competition from a little brother.  Howie is their goofy but loving and enthusiastic yellow lab. 

Val

Valley Girl was a full-fledged member of the family, a black lab who joined us after she took early retirement as a guide dog for the blind.  She's in dog heaven now, catching frisbees and bounding into the ocean with wild abandon.

Kim (Mark's sister) and Ray (her husband) Yunkunis live near Cincinnati, Ohio with their daughter, Alyssa.  Kim works as Research Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  (Obviously, she's the smart Yolton, with a PhD, while Mark...well...).  Ray is Supervisor of Facilities Studies for International Paper, which means that he models financial scenarios when the company is contemplating a major expenditure, sale, or plant re-tooling.  Kim and Ray's daughter, Alyssa, works on developing fine motor skills and enjoys learning about the world around her.   

We're blessed with family and friends too numerous to mention individually in Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York, Michigan, Illinois, North Carolina, Mississippi, Washington State, and California... and beyond.
